Donate Your Recyclables at Raven Recycling

Another great way to help the Shelter is by donating your recycling. Bring your recyclable containers and bottles to Raven Recycling and they will sort them for you. Just ask them to donate your refund to the “Mae Bachur Animal Shelter” Save the environment and help the animals at the same time!

Collect Your Grocery Receipts

Save your receipts from Extra Foods and bring them in to us at the Shelter; for every $5,000 worth of receipts, the Shelter receives a voucher for $20. Another great way to help us take care of our four-legged friends until they find their forever homes.

Plastic grocery bags

There’s a use for everything! Bring us your used plastic grocery bags; we’ll give them a second life and put them to good use for kennel clean up.

We are now collecting Canadian Tire Money!

Every little bit helps and by donating your canadian Tire money we are able to purchase those things that help us to do our jobs better and take care of the animals better on a daily basis! Bleach, duct tape, tools and other needed supplies come in handy with your Canadian tire money donation!

We are now collecting Shoppers Optimum Points too!

You can donate your Shoppers Optimum Points to Charities!  We have signed up, and if you are interested in donating this way, just ask the staff at Shoppers!

Other important and greatly needed items:

There are several items we need regularly, sometimes on a daily and sometimes weekly basis. In addition to this, we need items to help with the administration and maintenance of the building, afterall, we need the building in good working order and the people running it so that our residents can have a safe and efficient place to be adopted from!

So pick 1 item or 10 , and we will gladly accept your donation and provide you with a tax receipt should you require one.
