Humane Society Yukon is looking for recipes for a new fundraiser: a cookbook!
If you would like to share one (or more!) of your favourite recipes, our categories are: pet food, desserts, cookies/cakes/pies, breads, main dishes, beverages, vegetarian & vegan and soups & salads. Main dishes are wild meat or fish only, please!
Drop off your recipe(s) at the shelter at 126 Tlingit or email them to pdbastien@northwestel.net and indicate which category it's for.
If you would like to be a sponsor, there are two ways: $20 will get your name on a sponsor page or $50 will get you a full page (5x8, black & white) advertisement. Please contact Deborah at 667-2066 or leave msg. We have very limited space for full page ads so call us soon!

The Humane Society Yukon Annual General Meeting will be held on August 17th at 7PM. The location is the Whitehorse Public Library on 2nd Avenue.
29th August 2010 is the 17th Annual Dog Jog. The start is at the SS Klondike and registration is from 11 to noon. The jog itself begins at 1PM.
