Fireweed - In Foster

Description

Fireweed - In Foster
Fireweed is still looking for her forever home. She is now one of our longest residents and we
would love to find her a permanent home. She is doing very well in foster and we are reposting
her with some more info that we hope will help find her home.

Fireweed struggled in the shelter, but she does quite well in foster homes.
She is happy to be inside and snuggle on the couch. She has been fine with cats, she is good
with most other dogs with proper introductions. She does have some mild resource guarding,
but she has been able to eat with other dogs (separate dishes of course). We would
recommend a home with older children as opposed to younger children. She has been with
young kids, but she can get a bit snatchy.

She does have a tendency to run off on adventures, but always comes back, however we would
recommend a home that can keep her leashed, secure in a kennel/pen, and that is committed to
training with her.

She has been bike jouring and would thrive in a active home.
Fireweed is a really lovely dog and she has alot to offer a home.
Her adoption fee has been waived in the hopes of finding her a home.
