Joey

Description

Hi, I’m Joey! I’m a 2 year old mixed breed female.

The shelters best guess at my breed would be some kind of staffie mix. I’m a timid girl who can be very weary of strangers at first. I tend to bark a lot because I am scared and don’t know how else to tell you that. I will need a calm, quiet home home who will show me that I don’t need to be afraid and will work with me on building my confidence with myself and other humans. My owner needs to show me that they’re in charge and that I can just be a dog! When I let my guard down, I love to be close to you and be pet.

Likes: treats, sniffing you before you pet me

Dislikes: strangers at first

Cats: not tested but maybe

Dogs: proper introductions needed

Kids: teenagers only please

Potty trained: yes

My adoption fee would be $450.

When adopting, the fee you pay gets you an animal that is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and spayed or neutered. If they are not of age to have been spayed or neutered, a purchase order is sent to the vet that covers a large portion of their surgery.

If you’re interested in adopting this animal please stop by or call the shelter at (867) 633-6019. At that point, we can fill out our questionnaire and we can talk about adoption!
