Meet Azula

Azula is a 1yr old female cat. Azula came to us with a badly injured back leg. It was determined that the best course of treatment was to amputate the limb. Azula has recovered well and gets around fine with her 3 legs. She is a tiny little cat who loves people. She might be ok with other cats and she might be fine with nice dogs. She is good with children. If you would like to meet her please come in. She has just been spayed and is ready for her new home. Her adoption fee is 350$

Kuma

Description

Meet Kuma!!

Kuma is a aprox 3yr old female shepherd cross. She came to us from Bylaw in one of the communities so we don't know much about her. We do know that she has had 2 litters of pups in the past. Kuma did have a wound on her neck when she came to us, it has been cleaned and she has been treated with antibiotics. Kuma can be a bit shy at first but she warms up very quickly and is then very outgoing.

She has not shown much reactivity so may be ok with other dogs with proper introductions. We do not know how she would be with cats or children. She has just been spayed and is ready to find her new home. Her adoption fee is 400$

Description

Meet Olive!! Olive is a spayed 2.5yr old Beagle/Pointer/Harrier cross. Olive has been fine with other dogs and kids. We do not know about cats. Olive is a beagle cross and with that comes her talking, she is loud when she meets new dogs and people and when she gets excited. Although she has been faily quiet at the shelter, this may change as she becomes more confortable in a new home. She is a bit timid at first but warms up quickly and loves attention and snuggles. She does like to escape at times and follow her nose and has been known to chase cars at her previous home. Olive does have allergies that where never pinpointed to a specific thing and is on a once daily allergy pill that has helped. Her adoption fee is 400$

Description

Meet Barkles is an approx 1yr old female dog. We don’t know that much about her as she came via bylaw but we were told she was a pyrenees/pitbull cross. Barkles is a good girl, she has not shown reactivity to other dogs here, although she does like to bark when she sees them or is excited.. Or wants some attention, she is a talker. She needs to work on basic manners like leash pulling. We do not know how she would be with cats, she likes children but can be a bit over exuberant for younger kids. She would suit an active home with an interest in ongoing training. She has been spayed and is ready for her new home. Her adoption fee is 400$

Littlest

Description

Meet Littlest!!! Littlest is a 2yr old Marrema spayed female. Littlest has been diagnosed with ‘dilated cardiomyopathy’. This is a serious heart condition that will shorten her lifespan and will need continued vet care in terms of monitoring and medication. She is on daily meds and she will need to stay on these meds for life. Littlest is very typical of her breed, she can be shy and standoffish when she meets you, but she has developed strong bonds with staff here. She prefers the outdoors and a home with breed experience is necessary for her. She likes kids, would be ok with most other dogs, we don’t know how she would be with cats, however she has never reacted to our shelter cat. Please only reach out if you have breed experience and are aware of her medical needs and prepared to support them. Her adoption fee has been reduced to 200$ to reflect her the ongoing expense her new owners will need to take on.

In foster - Meet Pudding! Pudding is a 4.5yr old spayed female shepherd cross. She is a very affectionate girl and would love a single dog home as she can be reactive with other dogs. Myah is a 6yr old spayed female malamute.

She is Imala’s daughter. Myah is a bit nervous and timid and would do well with a family that can take things slow with her and go a her pace. Like Imala.. Myah will need to be in a home with a secure fenced yard or kennel and will need to be kept on leash as she will run if she gets away. She also had some harness training in the past. Probably not a good fit with cats or small animals, would be good with most other dogs with proper introductions and good with kids. Her adoption fee is 400$

Meet Imala, Imala is a 7yr old female spayed malamute.

She has had some harness and sled dog training in the past. She was a strong leader. Imala is a lovely dog, she would likely be fine with other dogs with proper introductions. She will need to be kept in a safe fenced yard or kennel and on leash for the first while as she will escape and run.
