Chewbarka

Description

Meet little Chewbarka!

I am 14 weeks old. We guess that he is a husky x shepherd mix.

He is a sweet, loving puppy. Puppies ultimately become what they are taught so if you are interested in adopting a puppy, this needs to be kept in mind. Puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of time and dedication.

If you’re up to the task, please come by our shelter to meet this sweet baby. He is looking for devoted, committed homes.

The cost to adopt a puppy is $500.

Cats: not tested but young enough to learn

Dogs: yes

Kids: yes

Potty trained: not yet

When adopting, the fee you pay gets you an animal that is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and spayed or neutered. If they are not of age to have been spayed or neutered, a purchase order is sent to the vet that covers a portion of their surgery.

If you’re interested in adopting this animal please stop by or call the shelter at (867) 633-6019. At that point, we can fill out our questionnaire and we can talk about adoption!

Everest

Description

Hi, I’m Everest! I’m a 3 year old mixed breed male.

I’m back at the shelter. I ran away from my home and was a bit too much for them to handle.

I’m a big goof ball! I’m a pretty easy going dog, once I give you some good sniffs to check you out, I want you to give me all the pets! I especially love getting my bum smacked, it’s my favourite. Despite being a big boy, I’m pretty gentle, even when taking treats from you. I’ve been in a foster with kids and I loved them, I was so patient and cuddly with them. I’m a gentle giant. I can decide to be an escape artist, although I don’t do it all the time it is something my future family will need to be aware of as I’m settling in. I will need to have a contained yard and no open doors, I will try and sneak out! The only dog I play well with at the shelter is Zola, I will need proper introductions before going into a home with another dog.

Enzo

Description

Hi, I’m Enzo! I’m a 3 year old mixed breed male.

When I first got to the shelter I was afraid, unsure and skinny. They are slowly helping me gain some weight and some trust. I really crave love and attention but get uneasy when receiving it, it is just a lot for me to process! I can be quite scared around men and some women, especially through the fence. I will need my person to go slow with me and really build a bond with me. I am very food motivated, it makes it easier for me to trust you if you’ve got good snacks.

Zola

Description

Hi, I’m Zola! I’m a 4 year old mixed breed female.

I’m back, I was not a good fit in my home. I was not good with the livestock I was around!

I’m the sweetest girl ever! When you come in to visit me, I just want you to give me all the pets. I love to play fetch, I will rotate between wanting your attention and wanting you to throw my ball. I need to be in a home without small animals, my instinct to chase is just too high. I have a pretty calm, gentle nature so I would likely do well in a home with children.  I’m a highly intelligent, active girl who needs a home who will keep me stimulated both mentally and physically. At the shelter, I am pretty well behaved but if I catch them lacking, I will try to take myself on a walk. The only dog I am close with at the shelter is Everest, I am very dominant with other dogs so if I were to share a home with one, they would need to play how I want.
