The Smurf Litter

Description

Meet the Smurf Litter.. So, these little munchkins were the litter that came in with a Parvo Exposure. Sassette (the brown fluffy one) did test positive and was treated and recovered just over 2 weeks ago, they are all over the 2 week quarantine required and have been cleared for adoption.

They are 14 week old German Shepherd cross puppies and they will probably be fairly large dogs. They have been cooped up for a few weeks and would love to get into permanent homes. They would make active homes the ideal adventure buddies.

There are 3 girls Sassette - fluffy brown

Smurfette - fluffy black and tan

Vanity - She has the big ears

And 2 boys

Clumsy - he has the funny little folded ears

Description

Meet Aloka!!! - Aloka is a yr old pitbull/husky or akita cross. He came to us from bylaw so we don't know his history. He is a lovely, freindly very happy guy. He has shown no dog reactivity in the shelter. MIght be ok with cats and would be good with older kids, hes a bit high energy and exuberant so might be too much for young kids. He would thrive in a active home with a family that is interested in training. He has been nuetered and is ready for his new home. His adoption fee is 400$

Meet Opal!! Opal is a approx 2yr old corgi or beardog cross. She is around 25lbs. Opal came in with Ruby, however they are fine to adopt separately and would probably improve with other dogs once they are separate. Opal does have some leash reactivity with other dogs, but might be ok with proper introductions. She does like kids and has not shown any reaction to our shelter cat. She is now spayed and ready to go to her new home. Her adoption fee is 400$

Description

Flint is a approx 2yr old male neutered dog. Flint is a large dog, he is currently reactive to other dogs, but that can often be worked on as he is not happy in a shelter enviroment and he has not been here long. He is also a bit of an escape artist so will need a home with a secure outdoor space and a commiment to keeping him leashed. Flint would suit a active home, preferably with older kids and we do not know how he is with cats. Flint would thrive in a home commited to training. His adoption fee is 400$

Meet Ophelia Ophelia is an approx 2yr old female dog. She is most likely a Chesapeake bay retriever/bully breed mix. Ophelia is a lovely dog with people, she is sweet and affectionate and loves cuddles. She is an athletic dog that would do well in an active home that enjoys training as she is very smart and keen to learn. Ophelia is a beautiful dog that has a ton of potential. However Ophelia has also shown a high level of dog reactivity in the shelter and will need to be in a single dog home and/or with a very experienced dog owner. We would probably not recommend her at this time to a home with small animals, such as cats. She is good with kids. She has been spayed and is ready for her new home. Her adoption fee is 400$

The Bizont Litter - Their mom was a Jack Russell cross and around 20lbs, no idea who dad was and based on their current size we are guessing these pups will be bigger then mom, in the 30-40lb range. They were named by one of our generous donors Bizont and the names are a mixture of their Mexican Heritage with the sweet treats and a homage to the North where they live and work from.
