Hi, I’m Keno! I’m an 8 month old Great Pyrenees mix male. 

 

I’m such a good boy! I’m very gentle and a little shy but if you get down to my level, I get comfy pretty quick. Sometimes I’ll give you a little smile if I don’t know you just so you know I’m friendly. I’m a large dog, true to my breed and at only 8 months old I’m already 77lbs! I need a home with property for me to be outside in, I am a livestock guardian after all! I am already experienced in being a working breed and would need a home to let me continue doing that. Don’t get me wrong though, I still love attention and cuddles! I’m a multifaceted guy. 

 

Likes: pets, being told I’m a good boy

Dislikes: when people aren’t patient with me, I’m a bit shy!

Cats: yes

Hi, I’m Chicken! I’m a 3 year old domestic short hair male. 

 

I’ve really warmed up to the staff! I greet them every morning with my sisters, Ham and Pastrami. I’m becoming a lot more confident but do still hide when some strangers come in the room. I tend to hide in my covered bed when people I’m not familiar with are around but I’m starting to trust a lot easier. I like to rub against your legs and talk to you once I’m comfortable with you! I would love to be adopted with either my sister Ham or Pastrami.  

 

Likes: my covered bed, wet food

Dislikes: loud, unexpected noises 

Cats: I should be okay with them, I lived with my 9 siblings!

Dogs: not tested but not likely 

Kids: quiet, older ones maybe

Hi, I’m Sausage! I’m a 3 year old male domestic short hair. 

 

I’m a pretty reserved little guy, it took me a few weeks to even want to leave my cage here at the shelter. I get pretty vocal when the staff are making my breakfast, I like to show them how excited I am for the wet food! It’s my favourite. Overall, I’m still pretty shut down and it’s important for my future family to understand that I will take a long time to adjust to my new home. I will need plenty of hiding spots (preferably up high).

 

I will need to be adopted with one of my sisters (Ham or Pastrami) so they can help support me through the transition to a new home. 

 

Likes: wet food

Dislikes: loud environments

Cats: probably, I lived with 9 other cats!

Dogs: not tested but not likely 

Kids: calm, quiet older ones maybe

Hi, I’m Funky Stumpy! I’m a 2 year old male mixed breed. 

 

Despite how I look in pictures, I’m a pretty small little guy! I’m an excitable dog, I love all people and any kind of attention they give me. I love to play with balls and play fetch. I like to bring a ball with me everywhere I go. I’m a bit of a chunky guy, my future family will need to help me manage my weight better so there’s less pressure on my little legs.

Dislikes: seeing dogs through the fence

Hi, I’m Miles! I’m a 5 month old mixed breed male. 

 

I’m a high energy young boy! I haven’t been given any stability or routine in my short life and I need a family committed to making me the best boy I could be. I would need a high energy home, one dedicated to tuckering me out, both mentally and physically. I’m still learning that people are here to treat me with love and not make me afraid, I’m still learning how not to submissive pee when I see people.

Hi, I’m Taz! I’m a 1 year old mixed breed. 

 

I’m a big boy! I have lots of puppy energy but imagine if a puppy was the size of a small horse! I have lots of love to give, I’m a cuddly boy after I’ve been tuckered out. Since going into foster, my foster dad takes me to the dog park a lot and I get to socialize with the dogs there! I love it. I’m a silly goofy guy and make people laugh with my antics. I would be a good family dog with proper training and exercise.

Longest resident alert! :( I’ve been here since August! 

 

Hi, I’m Groot! I’m a 3 year old mixed breed male. 

 

I’m the perfect mix of an outdoor companion and an indoor cuddlebug! I’m happy to go on a hike but I also am content to snooze the afternoon away on a couch with you. I’m calm and relaxed in the home after I’ve had my walks and I will lay down in my crate with no issues. I’m really snuggly and will crawl into your lap for cuddles. I’m very food motivated and eager to please! I need to build some confidence when it comes to my people leaving, I still need to know you’re coming back. With time and consistency I can overcome that! I just need someone to commit to me.
