Leon - In Foster

Medical/Weight Loss Foster Needed Leon needs help! We want to make sure he is fit and healthy before he is adopted, so we are asking for a minimum 3 month foster to help get him there. Leon was originally adopted from us 4 years ago, he was a healthy 60lbs at that time. Now 4years later he is 145lbs. Leon is 6yrs old and should not be in pain from carrying so much extra weight. He needs someone that can follow his diet and exercise plan and help him get where he needs to be. He will need to be fed strictly to the vets requirements, he needs to have pain meds administered daily and he needs slow, low impact exercise daily. He does love getting into vehicles, but it will need to be a low to the ground vehicle or to have a ramp as he can’t get into anything high. He will need to be taken to the vet for rechecks as he loses weight, he does not like going to the vet and will need anxiety meds administered before each visit. He is reactive to the vets and to too much handling, so an experienced quiet home would be best for him. He might be fine with other dogs, but has not been around cats as far as we know.
